Each year Partners in Friendship (PIF) undertakes several fundraising campaigns for PIF endeavors, with the main endeavor being the exchange program between high school students of Aiken and Orvieto.

The largest of these campaigns is acceptance of donations for wine featuring distinctive labels of interest to the Aiken area. The wines of the 9th Partners in Friendship Performance are now in. We have selected an exquisite 2005 La Carraia Orvieto Classico white wine and a delightful 2004 Falesco Rosso red.
   
   
   
   

This year we are celebrating local golf courses and judging from their enthusiasm, we will have a successful campaign. The participating golf clubs are:

The Aiken Golf Club
The Golf Club at Cedar Creek
Houndslake Country Club
Midland Valley Golf Club
Palmetto Golf Club
Woodside Plantation Country Club
The Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation

We have a total of 14 different labels, a red and a white for each, with a picture from each golf course on its label. The photography and the artwork were done by Thom Abbott of Southside Gallery.

The recommended member donation this year is $160.00 per case or $14.00 per bottle. For non members the recommended donation is $175.00 per case or $15.00 per bottle. These will make excellent gifts for events such as the upcoming Aiken Triple Crown or Masters Week.
