From the same thematic ovoid shape, so many of Valentini’s characters
emerge triumphant- the bird from the nest, the angel from the clouds,
the seed from the earth. The artist’s country has been war torn, his
city has weathered countless regimes and systems of belief have come
and gone. And yet the earth has nurtured life regardless of the
setbacks. And so Valentini has triumphed over adversity.
