A WINDOW TO BE OPENED (FINESTRA DA APRIRE)
This most complex print has an almost Oceanic woodcut style to the
background pattern with a pastel rendering of a dove at the center.
Surrounding the bird is a metal framed jail-like structure. There are
rusty red wounds at each sharp point of iron. The artist produced
numerous sculptures in forged iron and the bands and bolts are very
convincing. The viewer is left to contemplate if and at what point
escape is possible.
