This print resonates with mystic references and coming from an artist
whose life experiences have included such hardships, it is difficult
not to interpret this as self- revealing. The brown earth nestles the
seed of new life. Some see the spreading shoots of a new born seedling,
others detect a human heart or lung-like pattern. Can anyone else see
in that earth-toned circle a nest and the red spread wings of the
spiritual bird of Valentini’s flights of fancy?
